Hello,everyone!! It's been a while since last post...Ok la...Now it's the time to update!!haha!!
Seriously, I am really enjoying this holidays because this will be my last long vacation (I will be having ITP attachment during next long holdiays and there will be no holidays for me in my third year due to FYP T.T). Haha...
LTC @ Pulau Sibu is one of the memorable trips in my life. Not only meeting friends and having some outdoor activities, I have learnt something from the camp, which is HOW TO SLACK!! Haha... Why do I say so? It's because I got great teammates who showed the great teamwork throughout the camp and this make me this co-team leader could be abit slack :p I am so fortunate to be in Veera.
First day of LTC, we played beach volley ball and icebreaking (which I call it as 'talk cock' time!!^^) My teammates are so open!!!They willing to share their experience, their romance to us!! Maybe they trust us bah!! At night, we had a game called 'Find a tree'. We all have to be blindfolded and find our way to another tree. Even though we couldn't finish it on time, to me, it was an achievement....
Second day of LTC, we had cliff abseilling and snorkelling. I had alot of fun!!! After that, some Malay trainers showed us how to build a shelter and make tools for cooking by using the resources that can be found in the jungle. Of course, starting fire is important skill to survive a deserted island. Water tower - the game we played at second night.
Third day of LTC, after breakfast, we departed for survival island batch by batch. Team spirit is the key in order to finish this programme and Veera is the BEST!!LOL... I found a heart-shaped coral. In fact, I wanna to bring it and give to my next girlfriend but since Maggie insisted to have it, so I gave it to her. But in the end, we presented it to our tribe's facilitator, Jacoob after signing on it. Last night, by right, we would be having camp fire. But it was raining. So we had our tribal night at the dining area. hmmm....It's fanstatic... *big hand for all the groups!!!*
After this camp, I am now looking forward to RYLA in this December...Haha...
After coming back from LTC, I went home on 11/9. I went to Pek's house to find him...Then bought a cake to celebrate my mum's birthday!!!oh yea...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUMMY!!!13th Sep. will be my cousin, Catherine's wedding dinner. So, I drove all the way to Malacca in Friday (12/9) evening. It's so good to have family gathering. Beside wedding dinner, we also celebrated
my grandma's birthday. It was a happy occasion, especially for my grandma. First, she had the chance to meet her siblings and second, she will have a great grandchild in next year!!!(well, it's not from me!!haha)
I went back to my secondary school on Monday to deliver a Hari Raya greeting card. Talking with teachers is the thing I always do when going back to school, although it's somehow against the regulations.
Coming back to Singapore!!! Initially, the Babu's family (led by James, the Boss) planned to have a trip to Bintan Island. But, some of the family members are busy with their part time job. So we have no choice but postpone it to our next short break. And know what? My result was out!!! In this semester, I got 2 Distinction (CA and GEM), 3 A's (AMMP, ACS and Maths) and my physics got B. Semester GPA=3.808 and cumulative GPA =3.92. Sigh...I can't maintain my GPA.But overall, I am still satisfied with my result since I had been slacking and not really putting my effort into it.It's NO use crying over split milk.
Now I got regular exercise...I play badminton once a week with James and MJ and some friends...Don't why, I still cannot play seriously. Next time must try...haha...
In this holidays, I have changed alot...From a chopped chicken (白斩鸡)turn into roosted chicken(烧鸡). haha...oh yea, must find time to start sketching. If not, I will never fulfil my promise...haha...
